Myanmar-Russia aviation network: Yangon-Mandalay-Novosibirsk flight service

With the aims to visit more Russian tourists through Myanmar-Russia direct flight network and to boost trade and investment between the two countries, Myanmar Airways International (MAI) inaugurated Yangon-Mandalay-Novosibirsk flight service on 5th September and the first round trip service operated with a total of 72 passengers. 

Tin Maung Than ,Director of Corporate Affairs ,MAI said " We took a lot of time to prepare for this flight service. Myanmar and Russia are many miles apart and the natures are different. We had take time to coordinate the immigration issues and the airlines operating procedures of Department of Civil Aviation to serve the trip. We will use air bus A 319 and A 320 flights for this service. "

The ticket price for Yangon-Mandalay-Novosibirsk round trip service per one will be cost at 409 USD. The fight time will be 1 hour for Yangon-Mandalay and 6 and half hours for Mandalay-Novosibrisk. 

Aung Nai Kyi ,Pilot ,MAI said " As MAI, we will continue to maintain 100% safety records beyond 30 years and people can trust our service. " 

In future, MAI will operate with air bus A330 flight to expand the trip to 11 cities of Russia as a new step to boost the aviation network between Myanmar-Russia Federation.
