Myanmar / Japan: C-In-C Receives Chairman Of Japan-Myanmar Friendship Association

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a delegation led by Mr. Hideo WATANABE, Chairman of Japan-Myanmar Friendship Association and former Member of House of Councilors of Japan.

In the meeting at the parlour of Bayintnaung Villa, they cordially discussed endeavours of Japan-Myanmar Friendship Association for further enhancement of friendly relations between the two countries, and promotion of cooperation between Myanmar and Japan and the two armed forces.

Present at the meeting together with the Senior General were Lt-Gen Nyo Saw and Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army). The Chairman of Japan-Myanmar Friendship Association and former Member of House of Councilors of Japan was accompanied by Secretary General Mr. Yusuke WATANABE.
