Myanmar / India: Deputy Prime Minister receives Ambassador

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe received Ambassador of the Republic of India Mr. Vinay Kumar on Monday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the call, they cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to the further enhancement of the existing friendly bilateral relations, mutually beneficial cooperation in the areas including education and IT sectors, accelerating the implementation of Myanmar-India bilateral projects on the basics of mutual benefit, promotion of trade including the border trade and commerce, coordination for the consular related matters as well as loser collaboration both in the regional and international fora, including ASEAN and United Nations.
