Myanmar Idol: Season-4 Audition To Start On June 15 In Taunggyi

Myanmar Idol Season 4 Journey is set to be run in coming soon for staging Myanmar’s new generation Singers.

Myanmar Idol Program has completed its Season 1, 2 and 3 successfully and it’s already placed one of the interested Music Contests in Myanmar for the production of Music fans.

The program has already turned out the winners such as Saw Lar Htaw War in Season 1, Thar Nge in Season 2 and  Phyo Myat Aung in Season 3. For now, Season 4 is coming for the dreams of Music fans across the country with the new exciting programs under the arrangement of Moon Myanmar Media.

Executive Project Director, Moon Myanmar Media, Nan Mouk Laung Saing said “I want to invite all the youths who in-line with the rules in the competition. This is the great chance for all contestants; they can improve not only in singing but also in behavior, social dealing, decision making, personality and so on. And I have plans for the talented singers to get a chance to compete in the International Music Contests.”

Pre Auditions and Castings will be in five key cities of Taunggyi, Mandalay, Taungoo, Hpa-an and Yangon. Meanwhile, the Mobile Castings have to go in Kalaw, Pindaya, Meikhtila, Monywa, Shwebo, Pyay, PyinMaNa, Mawlamyine, Bago and Pathein respectively.

Executive Producer, Myanmar Idol, Aung Phyo Win said “The number of contestants for Season 1 is over 8,000. Nearly 14,000 contestants joined for Season 2 and nearly 20,000 for Season 3. So, we expect more contestants for this year.”

This year saw new members of judges who have a lot of experiences in music industry like Phyu Phyu Kyaw Thein and Aung Ko Latt together with Tin Zar Maw.

Singer, Phyu Phyu Kyaw Thein said “I’m really excited for the contestants with their talents. And then the singers who were nurtured by Myanmar Idol are now gaining success in Music industry. So, we have to choose real talented singers from the Competition. That’s why, I have already prepared to judge based on my experiences in both theoretically and practically.”

Grand Final Competition is expected in the end of December this year. The Winner will be awarded 50 million kyats together with the production of solo music album.
