Myanmar-EU Dialogue: Sustainable Development Goals

Dialogue on EU-Myanmar Sustainable Development Goals was held at the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations in Nay Pyi Taw, Tuesday.

Union Minister U Thaung Tun and EU Ambassador Kristian Schmidt presided over the dialogue.  During the dialogue, Deputy Minister U Set Aung discussed ongoing and future plans for the sustainable development project, the Project Bank and the Land Bank.

The dialogue also focused on Multiannual Indicative Programme 2014-2020 funded by the EU, and its new aid programmes to Myanmar from 2021 to 2027. It was also attended by Deputy Minister for Planning and Finance U Set Aung, the ambassadors of EU member states, concerned officials as well as representatives and heads of development cooperation.
