Myanmar delegation’s visit in Russia: Visiting to Mechanical Engineering workshop in St.Petersburg

A Myanmar delegation led by the Union Minister for Electric Power U Thaung Han who is in Russian Federation to attend the International Economic Forum in St.Petersburg visited JSC Atomenergomash (AEM-Technologies ‘Izhora’) workshop which is providing services for thermal power and technology on 14th of June.

At the workshop No.33 and 34, the Union Minister and party viewed the production of boilers and turbines which are using at thermal powerplant. Then, the Director General of JSC Atomenergomash (AEM-Technologies ‘Izhora’)Mr.Kotov Igor clarified operation of workshop and manufacturing process with power point presentation.

On the same day, they arrived at the Central Design Bureau of Mechanical Engineering workshop where the Production Director clarided that the workshop has been established for 80 years and heat engine machines, cooling water and pipe line systems are mainly produced. Similarly, the workshop produces necessary equipment for Thermal power plants, petroleum and natural gas production industry, and it also creates designs.
