






Under Myanmar-China trade cooperation, 15 MoU could been signed at the Myanmar (Nay Pyi Taw)-China (Lincang) Border Trade Fair at the MICC-2 in Nay Pyi Taw that was held from 25th to 28th May.
The trade agreements include 5 MoU among Myanmar companies and 10 MoU between China and Myanmar. Companies from the two countries signed agreements on business cooperation for agricultural products, foodstuffs, soft drinks and beverages, pharmaceutical products, household appliances and electric vehicles, development of industrial zone, banking services and export of beans and pulses according to the Director-General of Myanmar Trade Promotion Organization.
Naw Muta Kapaw, Director-General, Myanmar Trade Promotion Organization said "During the 4-day, we could sign 15 MoUs. Out of them, 5 were signed among Myanmar companies and another 10 MoU were signed by Myanmar and Chinese companies. The MoU focused on business cooperation for agricultural products, foodstuffs, soft drinks and beverages, pharmaceutical products, household appliances, electric vehicles and so on. By signing MoU, the trading will be undertaken more friendly and closely and will be promoted more as well as there will be good prospects in business and investment. Myanmar and China will continue to conduct trade expo, business meetings and we will support more border trade cooperation. "
China is neighboring country of Myanmar and populous country. It has a lot of potential for seeking a large market. To penetrate into the international markets, the export goods must be high quality and they must be competitive in the market, the official of Myanmar Trade Promotion Organization said.
