Myanmar Arts & Culture Association: Inauguration of the Mandalay Branch Office

The Myanmar Arts & Culture Association opened its Mandalay Branch Office on Friday.

Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung, Chief Justice of Mandalay Region High Courth, Region Government Ministers and officials as well as the Chairman of Southern Silk Road International Cooperation Committee, Chairman and officials of Myanmar Arts and Culture Association Yangon (Central) attended the opening ceremony and cut the ceremonial ribbon.

At the ceremony, the Chief Minister said that the new facility will contribute a lot in exposing Myanmar art and culture to the world, added that strenuous effort will be made for achieving more success in the areas of Myanmar's arts and culture.

After that, the Chairman of Southern Silk Road International Cooperation Committee, Mr. Chen En Tian explained the structure of the association and explained the members' duties and responsibilities.

Next, the Regional Chief Minister viewed and encouraged the students who entertained with cultural dance performances, and provided cash for organizing the traditional Thingyan Water Festival and honorary award to the performing groups.
