Mutual cooperation: DPM Union Minister meets Chinese Special Envoy for Asian Affairs

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe received Mr. Deng Xijun, Special Envoy for Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China on 18 September at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting, they cordially discussed the matters pertaining to the further enhancement of the existing Pauk Phaw relations, accelerating the mutually beneficial cooperation, the maintenance of peace and stability along the border between Myanmar and China, latest developments on peace and national reconciliation process of Myanmar, China’s continuous constructive support towards Myanmar development endeavours as well as closer collaboration both in regional and international arena, especially ASEAN and the United Nations.
