Museum Tour: MOHTC Union Minister visits National Museum

On Friday, Union Minister for Hotels, Tourism and Culture U Maung Myint accompanied by concerned officials visited the National Museum (Yangon) under the Department of Archaeology and Nation Museum. 

During the visit, the Union Minister made instructions on organizing special exhibitions at public areas and sending scholars to explore and share museology and display ideas. He also elaborated on accelerating Digital Museum upgrading process and sharing awarness to strengthen a sense of appreciation and preservation for cultural heritage among public.

Then, the Union Mnister inspected the galleries at ground floor and instructed on systematic preservation of royal regalia and inviting youths to widen youths particiaption and understanding in Myanmar’s historical heritage.
