MSME Sector: Preparation for Union Level MSME Expo and Competition

A work coordination meeting of the Committee for Organizing the Union Level MSME Expo and Competition was held at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Industry on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman of the Committee Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than called for the committee members to make discussions and cooperation in holding the MSME expo and competition meeting the standards. The attendees made clarifications on the preparations for holding the MSME expo and competition, future plans and implementations to make displays at the MSME expo and competition.

The Union Level MSME expo and competition is being held with the aims for the MSMEs to succeed and the products to get the marketplace, to be able to connect with domestic and international organizations and the long-term stability of MSMEs.

During the MSME expo and competition, there will be over 80 booths including the Ministerial exhibition booths, traditional food stalls, discussions related to the economy, MSME exhibitions and small industrial and cooperative association booths. It is learnt that 30 awards will be presented according to the types of products.
