MSME Products Exhibition: MoI UM toured and inspected the exhibition

Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than, together with Nay Pyi Taw  Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo and Council Member U Zeyar Lin, toured and inspected the exhibition of products produced by MSMEs within the Phawntawchetma Pagoda compound in Lewe Township, Nay Pyi Taw Council Are, on January 2.

Next, the Union Minister and the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman met with MSME entrepreneurs. The Union Minister stated that the government is actively supporting the development of MSMEs and providing loans to secure financial capital. To facilitate market access for products, MSME product exhibitions and competitions are being held in various regions and states, as well as at the union level.

MSMEs contribute over 90 percent to the economy of the country, regions, states, districts, and townships. The production activities and the MSME products made by MSMEs are showcased through such exhibitions and competitions to raise awareness among consumers.

Subsequently, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman discussed that MSME entrepreneurs should manage to produce according to market demand with skilled workers and strive to produce high-quality products that can be exported abroad. The current MSME product exhibition competition will be held for four consecutive days from January 1st to 4th, and the 16 types of products will be exhibited and sold at the event, it’s reported.
