MSME Development: Meeting with departmental personnel and locals

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with departmental personnel and MSME entrepreneurs from Meikhtila District in Mandalay Region on Friday.

Officials reported on development works in the district, operation of MSME businesses and Meikhtila Industrial Zone as well as the market condition, assistance for electricity supply, development of oil mill, cotton industry and livestock breeding works.

The Union Minister explained the assistance being provided by the government. The Prime Minister discussed to strive for development of the region through collaborative efforts among the administrative officials and local residents.

He pointed out the need to make efforts for meeting targeted agricultural yields, along with the development of livestock sector. He also discussed for power supply using renewable energy sources, boosting production of livestock, agricultural development, greending activities, tourism development and socio-economic progress of local community.

After the meeting, the Prime Minister viewed the displays of local products including foodstuff, consumer goods, clothes and cotton products.
