MSF ship rescues dozens from boat off Libya

More than 70 people, including 16 unaccompanied minors, were rescued in the Mediterranean sea on Saturday, officials said.The group were travelling in an unstable and overcrowded rubber dinghy in the waters of Libya. The team on the Geo Barents vessel, a search and rescue ship of Médecins Sans Frontières, helped to rescue the group.

They were brought back to the rescuer's ship where medical teams will continue to check them over while they wait to be assigned a port to disembark. In charge of Geo Barents rescue operations said 73 people were on the dinghy.
