Motion Picture Academy Awards: Glittering night with exciting moment

Motion Picture Academy Awards Presentation Ceremony for 2023 took place at the Myanmar International Convention Center – 1 in Nay Pyi Taw on Saturday.

Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Soe Win attended the ceremony, and made a speech, urging all from movie industry to serve for the interest of the nation, utilizing the soft power of arts.

The exciting moment of the ceremony started with announcement of four fashion awards for senior and junior actors, highlighting the Myanmar traditional attires. To show the government’s encouragement to the artists, three Lifetime Film Awards were presented for this year to the veteran directors and an actress. With a total of 12 nominated films for the 2023 Motion Picture Academy Awards, the ceremony featured 9 excellence arts and excellence professional awards, including the Best Film Award.

This year celebration for Motion Academy Award was held in a grand manner with red carpet, photo booth locations, and interview booths to welcome attendees and facilitate interviews and photography activities during the ceremony.

Along the red carpet, documentary photos of lifetime film award winners and academy award winners from 1952 to 2022 were displayed, creating a nostalgic journey through the years.
