Morrison on regional unity, vaccine donation

Australia's prime minister said Monday vaccines were the way out of the coronavirus pandemic as he reaffirmed ties with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

Scott Morrison spoke at the virtual summit from Canberra, affirming Australia's longstanding partnership with ASEAN and Australia's commitment to ensuring access to safe and effective vaccines in the Indo-Pacific. He added that Australia will work to deepen ties with Vietnam, Singapore and Indonesia to ensure two-way trade in the Indo-Pacific region.
