Morocco King inaugurates work on high-speed rail expansion

On April 24, King Mohammed VI of Morocco inaugurated a significant rail expansion project valued at approximately $10.3 billion. This initiative includes the construction of a high-speed rail line connecting Kenitra to Marrakesh, spanning 430 kilometers and serving major cities such as Rabat and Casablanca. The line is designed for speeds up to 350 km/h and is scheduled for completion by 2030.
