Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, reaffirmed the foundations of the Kingdom of Morocco’s position on the Middle East.

Bourita said, during a press conference on Tuesday, following his talks with the President of the Regional Government of the Canary Islands, Fernando Clavijo, that “Morocco’s position is very clear, and has been defined by His Majesty King Mohammed VI on several occasions,” recalling that the Kingdom calls for moving away from the logic of crisis management towards the logic of establishing standards for a lasting solution.

In this regard, the Minister stressed that Morocco supports the two-state solution, with a Palestinian state on the basis of June 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
