More bodies found in fire-ravaged Cambodian casino

Recovery teams working at the site of the Cambodian hotel casino fire on Friday found the remains of more victims.The official death toll so far is 19. That number is sure to rise as rescue teams access more of the building.

The current number of injured is 60.The Grand Diamond City complex in the border town of Poipet was heavily damaged in the blaze that broke out around midnight on Wednesday and raged for 12 hours.

An initial investigation found that the fire may have been caused New Year’s holiday decorations drawing too much electricity, causing wires to overheat and burn, local authorities said.The dead and injured comprised people of several nationalities, including Thai, Chinese, Malaysian, Vietnamese and Cambodian.
