Police in Romania warned beachgoers to keep away from any suspicious packages. They inform the authorities on Monday after packages containing more than 150 kilos of cocaine washed up on the country's beaches. The packages were first discovered on Friday and more than 130 kilos had been found by Saturday on beaches near the port city of Constanta.

Police warned the public not to open the packages as the contents could pose a risk to their health. Romania's biggest-ever drug bust was a record 2.5 tonnes of cocaine worth at least 600 million euros found in banana containers from Colombia that had arrived in Constanta in 2016.
