Monsoon Tree Planting: MOE organized a ceremony in Nay Pyi Taw

2023 Tree planting ceremony of the Ministry of Education was held at No.20 Basic Education High School in Pobbathiri Township in Nay Pyi Taw with the attendance of Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyunt Pe, Deputy Minister Dr. Zaw Myint, permanent secretary, Director Generals, Deputy Director Generals, education officers and concerned officials.

At the ceremony, the Union Minister planted Gantgaw sapling and the deputy minister, permanent secretary, directors-general, officials, teachers and students planted the saplings at the designated places respectively.

Then, the Union Minister inspected the tree planting process and cordially greeted the teachers, students and officials and encouraged them to maintain the planted saplings and to plant trees annually. A total of 301 saplings including Gantgaw, Gumkino, Mahogany and teak were planted during the ceremony.
