Monsoon Tree Planting Event: MOEP plants over 13,000 mango saplings

The Ministry of Electric Power organized its Monsoon Tree Planting Ceremony in 2023 at the compound of Nay Pyi Taw Central Training School of the Ministry on June 24th.

The ceremony was attended by Union Minister U Thaung Han, Directors-General of the Ministry, heads of the Departments, and staff. First, the Union Minister planted a Gantgaw sapling to mark the monsoon tree planting event. Then, the Union Minister observed the planting of 500 Sein Ta Lone saplings by the directors-general, directors, and heads of departments at their respective places.

On June 24th, the Ministry of Electric Power planted over 13,000 Sein Ta Lone mango saplings at the region/state Offices of the Director of Construction Departments, Electrical Engineering Offices, National Grids Offices, Power Substations, and in the compounds of staff housing.
