Monsoon Season trees planning: Sagaing Region CM attended the ceremony

With the aims at the inspiration of treasuring the trees and forest and green environment, balance of ecosystem, favorable climate, shade and good look in eyesight, 2024 monsoon season trees planning ceremony was held at the campus of Monywa University of Economics in the morning on 4th of June with the attendance of Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw and wife.

First, the Chief Minister and wife, Chief Justice of Region High Court and Region Ministers gave the designated plants to the Pro-Rector of the Monywa University of Economics and officials.Next, the Chief minister and wife, Chief Justice of Region High Court and wife, Region Ministers and their wives, Region/District/Township departmental officials, Pro-Rector, professors/heads of departments, faculty members and students planted the designated trees collectively and happily, the Chief Minister and officials viewed and encouraged those who were planting trees and took a documentary group photo.

Next, the Chief minister and officials viewed the distribution of 500 saplings of shady trees to the attendees and students to plant in their houses.At the 2024 monsoon season trees planting in the compound of Monywa University of Economics, a total of 1000 shady trees which are 2 feet in height and 2 years old.In the afternoon, the Chief Minister and officials attended the coordination meeting on participation in the 2024 5th National Sports Festival held at meeting hall of the Region Government office.

At the meeting, the Chief Minister gave an opening speech. Next, the Director of Region Sports and Physical Education Department clarified the preparations for the participation in the 2024 5th National Sports Festival.Then, the Region Ministers and Region level departmental officials also clarified the preparations for the related sports competitions.After coordinating the requirements reported by the attendees, the Chief minister gave a speech of conclusion.
