Monsoon Fish Stocking: MoI UM attended the Ministry’s fish stocking ceremony

The Ministry of Industry held its 2025 Monsoon Season Fish Stocking Ceremony to increase fish resources at the Check Dam within the compound of Office No. 30, Ministry of Industry in Nay Pyi Taw on July 14.

Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than, Deputy Minister U Yin Maung Nyunt, Directors-General, Managing Directors, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Deputy Directors-General, General Managers, and other officers and staff attended the ceremony.

According to the program, the Union Minister led the stocking of two-inch fingerlings into the Check Dam. Next, the Union Minister toured the area, observing and encouraging the Deputy Minister, Directors-General, Managing Directors, and other staff as they continued to release fish into the dam.

The Ministry of Industry stocked 15,000 fish fingerlings, including Rohu, Thai Mrigal carp and small catfish into the dam.
