Mongolia, Japan expand energy education partnership

Mongolia and Japan have agreed to expand their bilateral cooperation through energy engineering education and technical training. The primary focus includes renewable energy infrastructure, power grid reliability, and practical skills development.

The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed an agreement to build Japanese-style practical training facilities and supply equipment in the Mongolian capital. The joint initiative trains local engineering students to support Mongolia's long-term energy transition.
