MOEE Notification: Announcement for temporary power shut down

The Ministry of Electricity and Energy will temporarily shut down power for approximately 5 hours, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on August 30, to replace overheating power equipment at the 230 kV Myaungtagar Main Substation.

As a result, some townships, wards and villages in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions will experience temporary power outages. Residents and electricity consumers in the affected areas have been notified in advance through the respective Township Electrical Engineer Offices.
