Modi celebrates Christmas at Indian Catholics

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday attended the Christmas celebrations hosted by the Catholic Bishops' Conference of India in New Delhi.

Addressing the gathering, Prime Minister Modi said India gives priority to national interest as well as human interest in its foreign policy, while noting that the country cares for its people abroad and brings them back to the country when they face any difficulty.

It was the first time, the Prime Minister attended such a programme at the headquarters of the Catholic Church in India.
