Ministry of Health Announcement: Enhanced efforts to control diarrhea outbreak

According to the Ministry of Health, there have been no reported cases of severe diarrhea among 48 new admitted patients from 6 pm on July 20th to 6 pm on July 21st.

All admitted patients are currently in good condition.Additionally, on July 20th, 68 patients who had previously been hospitalized with diarrhea were discharged after showing significant improvement. In collaboration with the Yangon Region government, the Ministry has intensified efforts to manage and control the recent outbreak of diarrhea affecting several townships in the Yangon Region.

The Ministry of Health reassures the public that efforts to control the disease are being accelerated, with on-ground teams are actively working under close supervision to ensure the health and safety of the public.
