









A Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister of Home Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung attended the 6th Ministerial-Level Meeting on the Mekong Subregion Human Trafficking Prevention Plan in Hanoi of Viet Nam from November 18 to 21.
During the visit, the delegation met with Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister and officials to discuss cooperation on combating human trafficking, cross-border security, and regional law enforcement. They also participated in the opening ceremony and ministerial-level sessions, discussing national strategies, technology use against human trafficking, and regional coordination.
The Union Minister also engaged with representatives from neighboring countries and issued the Joint Declaration on Sub- Regional Plan of Action 2025–2035. They visited cultural sites of Trang An heritage area and Bai Dinh Pagoda in Ninh Binh province. The Myanmar delegation arrived back in Yangon on November 21st.
