Military service training: Mon State CM met with the trainees

On the morning of April 21, Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein, along with the state ministers and responsible personnel from the Southeast Command, met and encouraged outstanding citizens from across Mon State who are currently at the local training school in Mawlamyine to attend the People's Military Service Training Batch No. 12 (4/2025).

During the meeting, Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein encouraged the trainees to diligently learn the military knowledge and skills being taught at the training school, and to strive to become exemplary citizens who possess strong morale, discipline, and physical fitness. He emphasized that, under the People’s Military Service Law, military service is a noble responsibility of every citizen and is essential for the long-term stability, peace, and development of the country. To honor the outstanding citizens who will be attending the People's Military Service Training Batch No. 12 (4/2025), he presented honorary cash awards and uniforms.

After that, the Chief Minister and the officials had friendly, individual conversations with each of the trainees, offering words of encouragement. They also coordinated with responsible personnel to address and fulfill any needs or requirements the trainees may have.
