Every citizen has the duty to uphold the Three Main National Causes: non-disintegration of the Union, non-disintegration of national solidarity, and perpetuation of sovereignty. To enable the fulfillment of these duties, the People's Military Service Law was enacted and came into force on February 10, 2024, with the aim of providing military training and enabling citizens to undertake the State's defense responsibilities.
People's Military Service training courses have since been opened. The qualified citizens who have graduated from these People's Military Service training courses are now diligently and successfully performing State defense and security duties in their assigned regiments/units.
