Migrants from Mexico fire fight for lives in hospital

The victims of a fire outbreak at an immigration detention center are hospitalized in the Mexican State of Chihuahua. The incident happened on Tuesday and a deadly blaze killed 39 migrants. Health authorities reported the conditions of 11 patients who are being treated at the General Hospital of Ciudad Juárez.

The ages of the patients are between 21 and 40. Five are from Guatemala, four are from Honduras, one is from Venezuela and one is from El Salvador. Their prognoses have not been made public yet. Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador visited the hospital on Friday. He met with the doctors tending to survivors, and requested the best assistance available to the patients.
