Myanmar migrant workers continue to return home from Thailand since the Thai government amended its laws on foreign labor. 66 migrant workers (58 men and 8 women) who did not have the proper documents returned home on Friday through Kawthaung of Taninthayi Region.
Officials inspected them to check whether terrorists, culprits, and counterfeit money makers were among them or whether they brought drugs, arms, or counterfeit money. The returnees were provided with necessary assistance, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
