Mid-Term Prize Awarding: Shan State CM awarded the prizes to the students

The mid-term prize awarding and skill presentation of Taunggyi Education Degree College and Loikaw Education Degree College under the Department of Teacher Training of the Ministry of Education was held at the Kanbawza Hall of Taunggyi Education Degree College in the afternoon on 13th March.

Speaking on the occasion, the Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung said that those who bear the important responsibility to turn out the education based human resources required for the country are the qualified teachers.

For first year (first semester), second year (first semester) and (second semester), third year (first semester), a total of 654 students are being given camping training by Taunggyi Education Degree College and 295 students by Loikaw Education Degree College.

The trainees are urged to try hard to be good teachers who turn out the decent citizens of the future generation.Next, the Taunggyi Education Degree College Principal DawHninKyuOo clarified regarding with the college and the students presented physical and music ability.

The Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung provided cash assistance for the Taunggyi and Loikaw Education Degree Colleges and the Principal accepted. Then, the students clarified the intellectual growth gained from four-year teaching education system and presented the painting skill, domestic skills, industrial, agricultural and ICT skills. Next, the Chief Minister, State Ministers, State advocate General and officials awarded the prize of mid-term completion and outstanding prizes to the winner students.
