Microsoft to spend billions in France as Macron summit kicks off

Before presiding over the 7th edition of the "Choose France" summit, French President Emmanuel Macron visits Microsoft near Paris and meets with its president, Brad Smith.
According to Brad Smith, Microsoft is also set to announce a EUR4 billion investment in France's AI sector, which includes building new infrastructure, training French AI specialists, and supporting startups.
Microsoft pledged to invest billions in its French operations, joining other world top companies in announcing a total investment of EUR15 billion at the summit in Versailles, which is set to see 180 global business leaders.
