MFF Carabao Futsal Amateur Cup 2023: Aiming to produce professional futsal players

The MFF Carabao Futsal Amateur Cup 2023 was being organized by the Myanmar Football Federation’s Futsal and Beach Soccer Committee and Century Beverage Co., Ltd starting from 17th of June.

The final match and awarding ceremony of the tournament took place at the Thuwunna Futsal Stadium in Yangon on Thursday.

Head Coach, Saya Nyi, Black Cross FC said " In the first duration of the match, our team played 121 defence and 121 central system while I was finding weak points of the rival’s goal keeper. So, we won the first prize by playing man to man system. Our team has won first prize for 3 years."    

41 teams from all region and state participated in the tournament and at the final match, Black Cross FC team beats City Dagon FC team with 8:6 and grabbed first prize.

Goal Keeper, Naing Win Aung, Black Cross FC said " I tried my best in the role of a goal keeper and our team has good team working skill. I will try hard for my team. I would like to say thanks to our coaches, members and to those who support me."   

Football tournaments are being organized aiming for the development of Myanmar football industry and to be able to produce professional football player, it’s reported.
