Mexico's new President Sheinbaum takes part in Indigenous ceremony

Mexican president Claudia Sheinbaum receives a ceremonial staff from Indigenous leaders during a ceremony at Zocalo Square in the capital.

Sheinbaum was sworn in earlier in the day as Mexico's first woman president, replacing her popular predecessor and close ally Lopez Obrador as leader of the violence-plagued Latin American nation.
