Mexico president to write to 'friend' Trump about migration

Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said Friday that he would write to Donald Trump about migration after the US presidential candidate vowed to complete a controversial border wall if elected.

Lopez Obrador said that he would send a letter "to my friend Donald Trump because I think he is not being well informed about the immigration issue. Accepting the Republican presidential nomination on Thursday, Trump said an "invasion" of immigrants had brought "destruction" and "misery" to the United States.
