


More than 120 flower growers from Mexico City and 16 more from the states of Hidalgo, Tlaxcala, Puebla and Veracruz displayed a wide variety of seasonal plants at the fall flower festival on Mexico City's main boulevard.
Citizens from the capital had the chance to learn about the variety of species and the conservation efforts by local flower growers. Including Succulents, roses, orchids, carnivores, violets, cacti and many other species will be on display until October 9.
The event was organized by the Mexico City Commission of Natural Resources and Rural Development in collaboration with the capital's Ministry of Tourism. The festival is part of Mexico city's mayor Claudia Sheinbaum's strategy to promote sustainable projects that could benefit rural communities.
