Mexican Navy deploy103 Marines and tactical vehicles to Puerto Vallarta

The Mexican Navy deployed 103 Marines and tactical vehicles to Puerto Vallarta on Tuesday, as part of reinforced security operations in the western state of Jalisco.

The personnel arrived aboard the warship Usumacinta (A-412) and were assigned to support surveillance and prevention efforts in the region. In a statement published on its official account, the Navy indicated that the deployment aims to strengthen security and preserve public order in Jalisco. Authorities stated that the operation includes maritime, aerial, and land patrols, carried out in coordination with federal, state, and local governments.
