Mexican clown pilgrims gather to celebrate their saint

Hundreds of clowns fill the streets of Mexico City on Friday with bursts of color and music as they make their annual pilgrimage to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe to pay tribute to Mexico's patron saint and ask her to protect their jobs and health.

The Virgin of Guadalupe is the patron saint of Mexico and is revered by millions of Roman Catholic faithfuls.
