Message of Felicitations: 16th TipitakadharaTipatakaKovida Title Recipient

The 16th recipient of the TipitakadharaTipatakaKovida Title was announced during the 76th examination for selecting the award. Chairman of the State Administration Council, Prime Minister Senior General ThadoeMahaThayaySithuThadoeThiriThudhamma Min Aung Hlaing, conveyed his congratulations in a message to the title recipient Sayadaw.

The felicitation ceremony took place at the MinkunTipitakaNikaya Monastery in Dagon Township of Yangon Region.

In his message, the Prime Minister expressed heartfelt appreciation for the emergence of the TipitakadharaTipatakaKovida Title recipient Sayadaw. AshinPyinnyaThiriLinkara was born in KhweKhwin Model Village in Myinmu Township of Sagaing Region.

The Sayadaw entered monkhood at PyinZawtayone Monastery in Monywa in the year 1346 Myanmar Era. The Sayadaw is now 59 years of age with 39 years in monkhood, and residing in the MinkunTipitakaNikaya Monastery in Dagon Township of Yangon Region.
