Acting President and State Security and Peace Commission Chairman Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing sent a message to the ceremony to mark the 105th Anniversary of National Victory Day 2025, which falls on 14th November 2025.
In his message, the Senior General extended greetings with best wishes for all Union-born national brethren to be physically and mentally well-being.The Senior General stated that today is a historic day that the entire Myanmar people, in unity and harmony, opposed the colonial education system of the British at a time when the whole of Myanmar fell under the colonial rule of colonialist British.
He added that we must strive to learn from the past and present events we have experienced so that we can pass on the invaluable heritage of peace to future generations of youth. The collaborative efforts of the entire people in unity play a pivotal role in practically building a Union based on democracy and a federal system.
He said that we have to build a peaceful, prosperous and overall developed nation through the united strength of the entire people without losing the essence of unity of the National Victory Day with great historic traditions. The Senior General stressed that now is a crucial period for building a Union based on democracy and a federal system for our nation.
To ensure the successful implementation of the multiparty democratic system long desired by the people, the multiparty democratic general election will soon be held. As the electoral process represents the correct path we must follow, the public is urged to participate actively and work together to ensure its success.
In his conclusion, the Senior General urged all Union-born national brethren to join hands with each other in unity with collaborative efforts to build a Union based on democracy and a federal system successfully while upholding the objectives for 105th National Victory Day 2025.
