

















The closing ceremony of Student’s Cultural Exchange programme held from November 9th to 12th under Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Special Fund 2025 took place on Friday in Yangon.
Deputy Minister for Education U Nay Myo Hlaing attended the event, saying that cultural and education exchanging plays one of the pivotal roles for human resource development of the country. He also hoped for promoting cooperation through education sector among countries can enhance mutual respect and understanding.
And, the Deputy Minister presented commemorative gifts to teachers and students representatives from China and Thailand. One of the students expressed words of thanks. Prior to the closing ceremony, representative students, teachers and concerned officials visited No.1 Basic Education High School (Dagon), National Museum and the Secretariat and made discussions on current and future plans in enhancing cooperation in cultural exchange programmes.
On November 10th, the student representatives from China and Thailand made discussions on education systems, culture and traditions of their countries. On November 11th, representative students and officials visited Yangon University of Education Practicing High School, and Shwedagon Pagoda.
