Meeting at UMFCCI: MOL Union Minister meets with entrepreneurs

On 6th September, Union Minister for Labour U Myint Naung met with the entrepreneurs at the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Yangon.

Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister highlighted the exerted efforts of the Ministry for development of the nation, collaborating with the regional and international organizations. He added that these efforts emphasized on creating peaceful and safe workplaces, ensuring the employees to enjoy every benefits granted under labor law, worksite safety, providing secure job opportunities, social protection and healthcare services.

In order to improve the workplace relations, the Union Minister stressed to resolve every difficulty encountered through negotiation between employers and employees. He also urged the attendees to make concerted efforts in enhancing nation’s production capacity with the collaboration among the tripartite groups.
