Meeting on Tourism Sector: Kachin State CM attended meeting on tourism sector

Kachin State Regional Tourism Industry Working Committee is making effort for the development of regional tourism industry and implementation of new tourist destinations and the Regional Tourism Industry Working Committee held a work coordination meeting (1/2024) at Malikha Hall of the State Government office at 10 AM on September 4.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of State Regional Tourism Industry Working Committee Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan pointed out that the systematic implementation is needed to carry out hotel and tourism industries easily and speedily and the long term development of tourism, to render the quality service as long as the development of new hotel and tourism industries and the collaboration with the assessment of advantages and disadvantages in the implementation of new destination in the Region.

Next, the Committee Vice Chairman clarified the decisions made in the previous meetings, status of completing work implementation and the action plans and the Committee secretary reported the completion of work implementation on the decisions made by previous meeting, application for the working license extension and new work license followed by the reviewing of Committee members.

Then, the Chief Minister gave a speech of conclusion.At 7:30 AM, the Chief Minister together with State Minister for National Resources and members of Kachin State Clean & Green Team carried out the cleaning and greening tasks collectively in the Thitar Ward of Myitkyina Township, it’s reported.
