Meeting with teachers and students: SAC Chairman met with teachers and students of MDY EDC

The Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing accompanied by members of entourage, Mandalay Region Chief Minister and officials visited Education Degree College in Mandalay and met with the teachers and students at PyinNyar Dazaung Hall of the College in the morning on 26th August.

At the meeting with the teachers and students, principal Daw Moe Moe Kyi clarified the facts about Mandalay Education Degree College, status of educational implementations and requirements of educational facilities.

In his remark, the SAC Chairman focused on the importance of education saying the educational disadvance of the country appeared at the 2014 Population and Housing Census enumeration, the education is essential to support for the building of the State, only then the presence of educated human resources is abundant in the country, the further development of the country will be able to implement.

The Prime Minister also pointed out regarding with the political changes of the country and the education sector, Tatmadaw put the country on the path of democracy desired by the people in 2011 and cooperated with the elected governments for the development of the country, voting fraud before and during 2020 General Election resulted taking State responsibilities by the Tatmadaw and the political unrest leading to the armed terrorism to date.

The Senior General also gave necessary guidance for the students to be implemented during and post training period.Next, SAC Chairman Prime Minister and wife donated books and teaching aid materials for the Library of Mandalay Education Degree College and the principal accepted them. After that, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister cordially greeted the teachers and students, it’s learnt.
