Meeting with Tatmadawmen: SG visit Coco Kyun Station and met family members

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with the military officers, Tatmadawmen and families of Coco Kyun Station on Sunday. In his speech, the Senior General said it is needed to provide arragements for spending summer holidays efficiently.

He urged all to encourage the school going aged children to enroll the schools with regular attendance. In this way, children could gain good foundation of education. He also said that it is needed to enjoy the Thingyan Water Festival with discipline whild safeguarding the traditional culture.

He pointed out that progress has been seen in Coco Kyun compared to the previous time. He instructred to continue striving for development of the region in cooperation with the local people. The Senior General and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla later presented foodstuff and cash assistance for the military officers, Tatmadawmen and families and the Maternal and Child Welfare Association.

After the meeting, the Senior General enjoyed the splashing of water together with the attendees. In the afternoon,the Senior General and party inspected the agriculture and livestock works, being implemented in Coco Kyun Station. He also instructed that CoCoa trees have been grown commercially in Dawei area. Since Coco Kyun has the same soil condition, and it has promising way to grow Cocoa trees successfully.

Since it has good market demand, the success of the project could help for regional development. He also stressed to needs to implement preservation work for sea turtles. The Senior General and wife and party later released sea turtles to the sea as a gesture of performing good deeds in the Pre-Thingyan period. The Senior General and party later arrived at Cow Breeding Farm and gave instructions for extended breeding and systematic feeding.
