






Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with the military officers, Tatmadawmen and families of local battalion in Sittwe on Sunday. In his speech, the Senior General explained the situation of Tatmadaw participating in the leading role of the national politics of the country due to the circumstances.
He continued to explain the efforts for paving way to the multi-party democracy system, electoral fraud during 2020 general elections, declaration of the State of Emergency, development endeavours for political, economic, social and multi-sectors, prevailing peace and stability and systematic collecting of voter list for the upcoming elections.
He added that the government is striving for all round development of the country in terms of politics, economic and peace despite the current situations. He also pointed out the need to make constant efforts for promoting the capacity of each and every individual.
He urged all to have well discipline and to obey the order in serving the security and defence duties of the state. He added that the government is striving for economic development of the country by boosting production locally. Due to the implementation of the agriculture and livestock sectors in the military units and battalions, the obstacles have been overcome successfully.
He stressed the need to continue the tasks for welfare of the families. The Senior General said that it is also needed to encourage for education promotion of the children, and to conduct English and computer basic courses as well as the culture and moral courses.
He also urged the Tatmadawmen to pursue education at the Tatmadaw Education Schools. He urged all to strive for becoming a powerful Tatmadaw by utilizing the capacity of each and every individual member. The Senior General and wife later presented foodstuff for the military officers, Tatmadawmen and families as well as cash assistance for the maternal and child welfare association of the station. The Senior General and party later visited the station hospital and comforted the patients who are receiving medical treatment.
