Meeting with Tatmadawmen: SAC Chairman met Tatmadawmen and families

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with the military officers, Tatmadawmen and families of Monywa Station on Sunday. In his speech, the Senior General said the word “strength” could bring better changes for the nation and Tatmadaw as well, and thus, building unity and strength in the Tatmadaw and nation is a must.

He continued that Tatmadaw is mainly responsibility to defend the sovereignty of the nation and to safeguard the national interest of the country and its people. At present, efforts are being made to hold the free and fair election and to achieve peace and rule of law in the entire nation. He added that as per the results of the discussions with the Ethnic Armed Organizations, the constructive outcomes have been achieved and further discussions will be made for detailed matters.

He stressed the needs to nurture the strength since it could help to achieve any efforts. He urged all to pay emphasis for achieving unity and harmony in the Tatmadaw, stressing that only when there was a fair administrative system, more unity will be achieved in the Tatmadaw.

He also stressed the needs to carry out the welfare tasks successfully. With the strength of each and every individual member of the Tatmadaw, efforts have to be made for unity and harmony in the Tatmadaw for achieving better success. The Senior General and wife later presented foodstuff and cash assistance for the maternal and child welfare association of the station.

The Senior General later visited the Integrated Farm of Northwest Command and heard reports on implementation of poultry farm, livestock breeding, green house cultivation, tissue banana plantation and sales of livestock and vegetables with reasonable prices to the family members.

The Senior General instructed to make systematic implementation of the livestock and agriculture tasks that could contribute mass number of people.  The Senior General and party later inspected the livestock and agriculture works in the Integrated Farm. Earlier in the morning, the Senior General and party visited the Station Hospital in Monywa and encouraged the patients receiving treatment at the hospital.
